Zion National Park was the first spot in our "plan". we got there very late, so no time for hikes or for much really. we just parked the car, went for a walk and ended up seeing the incredible sunset from a high point, just seating on the rocks.
we went back the next day, ready to explore the trails. we got on one of the buses and we got off on the last stop. as we are not proper hikers and we definitely didnt have the appropriate gear for long walks, nor crossing lakes, we opted for the short ones that supposedly lead us to interesting points, like Zion´s weeping rock.
the park was beautiful, but i have to be honest, my heart is still in Yosemite.
we ended up sleeping in Hurricane on the first night, which i dont remember much of. at this point all the pictures of motel rooms look the same to me, i cant remember what was where, nor what the surroundings were like. i do remember that in that motel there was no non-dairy milk and i tried eating those radioactive cereals from the photo with super-chemical-orange-juice that was so sweet i had to throw the whole thing in the trash.
